Lucid Dreams in the Reverie of the Real is an exhibition of works by Lee Wen, a multidisciplinary artist and one of Singapore's most internationally recognised contemporary artists. The exhibition presents Lee's key works spanning an illustrious two-and-a-half decade-long artistic career, continuing some earlier series alongside more recent ones. The vast selection includes installations, photographs, videos and documentations. Lee will also perform 'live' during selected exhibition periods and talk about his experiences and personal development as an artist, covering subjects such as memories and myth-making.

"Large-scale sculptures" at art Basel Hong kong 2014

A look at the "Encounters" section of Art Basel in Hong Kong 2014, featuring 17 large-scale sculptures and installations. Interview with curator Yuko Hasegawa, Chief Curator of the Tokyo Museum of Contemporary Art.

The Works: Art Basel Hong Kong 2014

"The Works" is devoted to the second edition of Art Basel Hong Kong. Unlike the Venice Biennale and many other art events, big art expos like Art Basel are basically gigantic shopping opportunities. It's a trade fair after all. But it also does increase the appreciation and knowledge of art, as well as its profile in the community. For many people, fairs like Art Basel are also more approachable than many commercial art galleries, and every year people do buy tickets and bring their families to see some of the latest art being made today, as well as works by long established artists.
